In order to provide the best service to the Rowan University community, the following guidelines govern the scheduling and use of meeting rooms in the Campbell Library.

Equipment – Equipment needed over and above what the library supplies may be reserved through Instructional Technology Services (856) 256-4588.

Food – Is permitted only for official functions in specifically designated areas. Only the campus Food Service (Sodexho) may be used. You are responsible for making arrangements.  No outside food may be brought into the library.  Food is to be consumed in the assigned room only and Food Service must be notified for same-day pickup of leftovers. Contact Sodexho at (856) 256-4610.

Furniture -  if furniture must be rearranged, advance approval by the Dean’s Office is required.  It is your responsibility to insure that the room is restored to its original layout at the completion of your function.  You must make separate arrangements through a Facilities work order at least two weeks in advance for rearrangement and restoration.

Noise prevention is extremely important in order to provide the best service to our students. Therefore, it is imperative that doors of the meeting rooms be kept closed at all times. If patrons leave the assigned room, conversations should be kept to a minimum. Amplified sound devices are not permitted in the library. Talking on cell phones is discouraged in public areas due to the disruption for our other patrons.

Signs – No signs are to be taped or tacked to the doors or walls of the room being used or to the main entrance of the library. Announcements may be sent or emailed to Kathleen Beyer (beyer@rowan.edu)  who will post them on the kiosk in the atrium.
