Research Consultations

Research Consultations at Keith & Shirley Campbell Library

For Students:

Librarians are available to meet with students one-on-one (or by telephone, if you can't visit in person) for in-depth help finding books, articles, and other resources for research papers, projects, and theses/dissertations. We ask that you submit your question in advance, on the form at the link below, to allow the librarian time to identify and recommend appropriate resources.

Please use our calendar to make an appointment with a librarian.

For Promotion of Research and Scholarship:

Rowan University librarians are available to assist with all phases of the research process.

Librarians can create alerts for key journals in a particular field and help with tracking journal impact factors. To support the presentation and promotion of faculty research, librarians can provide assistance in identifying potential venues for publication, explain alternative publishing models, and recommend keywords (metadata) to facilitate discovery of the scholar’s work.

While all of our librarians are happy to provide advice and assistance, we encourage patrons to direct more complicated questions to the subject specialist with the appropriate expertise.

A list of library subject specialists can be found here.
