Orientation to the Library
This orientation module is made up of nine units, including this one. Each unit will highlight a specific learning outcome, reflective of the general goals stated above. Each topic will have its own goals and objectives, a unique collection of learning activities, followed by a summary and an assessment tool.
The units stand alone, although they are presented in an easily understood progression. If an assignment requires a knowledge that you have not yet acquired, you are free to skip ahead to the unit that will help you with the specific assignment. Also, anyone of these units can be reviewed time and again until you feel you have a firm foundation of the concept.
If you have difficulty with any of the concepts or the activities, we encourage you to stop by the Reference Desk on the 2d floor of the Campbell Library, or visit our Forum on the Reference Help Page to see if someone else has already raised your question. If not, submit your question to the Forum or email the Reference desk. We are here to help you. We cannot do this is you don’t ask for the help! Don’t be shy.
