The Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics [SIAM] offers exciting membership activities and conferences to encourage interaction between mathematicians and scientists. Members also enjoy numerous SIAM publications, including 15 peer-reviewed journals on specialized topics in math and science, as well as roughly 25 new books each year. SIAM has called Philadelphia home since 1952 and now has more than 60 employees. The international SIAM community is composed of more than 13,000 members involved in research and development, government services, academics, manufacturing and many other fields.
