Update: Library Calendars are Now Operational

UPDATE:

The library calendars have been restored. We experienced a hardware failure on the server that hosted the calendar software. Library Systems Services was able to resolve the issue and the calendars are now fully functional again. Thank you for you patience while we resolved this issue.

The Lab Reservation calendar is avaialbe and we are taking reservations, to make a reservation, please use the link below.

New Online Science Search Tools Added

Three powerful science search tools have been added to the Library's electronic resources. These include the following:

Science.gov: a portal search in over 40 government databases;
Scienceaccelerator: a gateway to research and development results, and projects descriptions;
Worldwidescience.org: a global science gateway to access a wide range of the world's science resources.

Daily Newspapers Moved to the Current Periodicals Reading Room

I'm talking about newspapers. There's just something about holding up the front section of a newspaper and getting a quick visual of the news of the world/region and a suggestion of importance-you know-placement on the page.

New Jersey State Tax Documents Available Exclusively Online

The Government Documents Department of Rowan University will not have any printed New Jersey state tax forms available for students or staff this year. The New Jersey Division of Taxation has decided not to send any State income tax forms to libraries and/or other distribution points for the upcoming 2009 Tax Season. People who require printed tax forms may find them on the Division's website at: http://www.state.nj.us/treasury/taxation/

Conde Nast to Cancel Publications

It was widely reported that publisher Conde Nast will cancel four of its publications including Gourmet, Cookie, Modern Bride, and Elegant Bride. The decision was reportedly based on a significant decline in advertising revenue.
