Gobi3 Alerts for Faculty
Gobi3 Alerts are book title selections that are emailed to you by our book vendor Yankee Book Peddler YPB. The alerts are based on your subject area profile which is setup for you by your department's library liaison. Faculty can recommend any title they would like the library to purchase for its book collection. There is no need to submit paper order forms as Gobi 3 allows Online ordering and selection. For titles that are not in your Gobi3 Alerts simply send them to your library liaison via email. Your liaison will then search Gobi for your titles and submit them for you.
Your Gobi3 profile will make it easier for you to select books that are newly published in your discipline. The Gobi3 Alerts can be emailed to you weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly, based on your preference. For more information please contact your library liaison.
