Printers, Scanners, Copiers, and Microform

Networked printers can be found on the second and third floors of Campbell Library:

  • The Reference Desk, 2nd floor
  • The Digital Scholarship Center, 3rd floor, rm. 345

The Pharos printing system is used at these printer locations to allow items to be sent from labs, home or off-campus computers. For information about using and setting up the Pharos print system, visit:

High-quality book-edge scanners are available in the Library atrium and several other locations. Its touchpad computer screen allows users to crop and edit the appearance of your materials as digital photographs. Set the resolution of each scanned image to “high quality,” or leave it as “standard” for easy e-mailing. Scanned images of up to 5 MB in size can be emailed. The option to print is available, but no longer necessary to simply reference materials. If files are too large to email, the scanner’s USB port allows use of a USB drive to save scanned images as PDF files. Users with smart phones may also scan documents to their phones using a QR reader application.

A photocopier is located on each publicly accessible floor in Campbell Library (floors 1-4). The cost is 10 cents per page; most are equipped with card readers to deduct funds from your Rowan account. Select photocopiers accept one and five-dollar bills.

Microform readers

Microform readers are available on the second floor for viewing microfilm and microfiche resources. Check with the reference librarian on duty for assistance using these machines.
