We proudly announce that Rowan University Libraries has joined the Coalition for Networked Information [CNI], an organization that exists to support the advancement of digital information technology and scholarly communication.

As Associate Provost for Library Information Services, Scott P. Muir noted at ScholarFest on October 28, Rowan University Libraries looks forward to joining the more than 200 educational institutions, publishers, scholarly and professional organizations, foundations, and libraries at the next semi-annual meeting. CNI members engage in conversations about innovative ways of sharing and publishing digital information.

CNI representatives attend events to make new connections and participate in discussion on issues such as scholarly communication, emerging technologies, and intellectual property.

The next CNI meeting will be held at the Capital Hilton in Washington, D.C. on December 8 and 9, 2014.
