Rowan University Textbook Alternative Program

Rowan University Libraries is pleased to be a sponsor of TAP.  This new program recognizes that academic textbooks are extremely expensive and their costs out-pace inflation.  Universities nationwide are implementing similar programs to counter publishers’ expenses.  This is an opportunity for faculty members to leverage their deep content knowledge in order to create or select course materials aligning with the curriculum.

Faculty members are invited to apply for one of five $2,000.00 grants to replace their course textbook with course packs consisting of Library Resources and/or Open Education Resources.  The savings to Rowan students will accrue quickly.

Additional information and links to the application form can be found on the TAP Web Page.  TAP is for undergraduate courses only.
