At the beginning of the year the AOA changed the name of its official publication the Journal of the American Osteopathic Association (JAOA) to Journal of Osteopathic Medicine. Additionally, the journal switched to an open access model which necessitated moving the journal’s old and new content to a new website.
Old issues of the JAOA back to 1991 are available through the new website, but they are listed under the new name Journal of Osteopathic Medicine and are only available as PDFs.
Links to many JAOA articles through PubMed and other databases are no longer working. Embedded links to JAOA articles that faculty may have in courseware or webpages also may no longer work. Clicking the Rowan GetIT button in PubMed for an old JAOA articles takes you to the Rowan Libraries’ record for the RowanSOM Library’s print holdings which go back to 1929
