Welcome to the New Rowan-Virtua SOM PBL Librarian!

We are thrilled to announce that Mercedes Byrd has joined the Health Sciences Library Staff as the Librarian serving the medical students and faculty at the Sewell Campus of the School of Osteopathic Medicine.

Mercedes has a Masters of Library and Information Science from Simmons University, as well as a Master of Arts in History form Northeastern University.

She has taught and supervised teaching at the Elementary School level at the Delphi Academy Boston in Milton MA, as well as being a Museum Educator at the Plimoth Pawtuxet Museums in Plymouth MA.

Please Welcome Mercedes to her new professional home at the Rowan University Libraries and the vibrant community of southern New Jersey.
