The Health Sciences Library is pleased to announce that the Rowan University Libraries Open Access Publishing Fund is now available to full time tenured or tenure-tracked faculty at Rowan-Virtua SOM. Unfortunately, applications cannot be accepted from students.
Faculty authors may apply for up to $3000 to help offset Article Processing Charges (APC) charged by some journals. Manuscripts accepted for publication in qualified fully open access peer-reviewed journals, where all content is immediately available to all readers at no cost, are eligible. Please note that these funds cannot be used for hybrid journals where fee payment can make otherwise restricted works accessible. Application for funds should be made after acceptance by an eligible journal but prior to any APC payment.
