Sign-ups for Elsevier Publication Workshops

Rowan University Libraries will be hosting two publishing workshops designed to demonstrate the processes for submitting articles to academic journals. Elsevier publisher George Woodward will be visiting Rowan University on Wednesday, November 12 and Thursday, November 13 to answer specific questions about paper submissions to the many different, multidisciplinary journals published by Elsevier. Elsevier is an international, multimedia publishing company that publishes nearly 2,200 journals, and over 25,000 book titles. Elsevier provides electronic databases such as ScienceDirect, Scopus, Elsevier Research Intelligence, and ClinicalKey.

George Woodward is a publisher in Elsevier’s STM Journals division, where he manages journals in the Nutrition and Dermatology portfolios. Prior to joining Elsevier, he was Director of Publications and Managing Editor for two Immunology journals, where he was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the publication process from pre-submission queries through final publication.
