Rowan University Libraries is now offering access to 300 of the most requested movies for in-class academic support through June 2016.
Faculty of all disciplines frequently show popular films to help convey significant historical and social topics discussed in courses. Through Swank Digital Campus, students, faculty and staff can view these licensed films in class or individually using personal computers and mobile devices (compatible with Apple and Android).
The trial subscriptions include access to classic films released as early as 1932, and newer, popular films released as late as 2014. Notable producers of movies included are Alfred Hitchcock, Orson Welles, Woody Allen, Clint Eastwood, Steven Spielberg, Tim Burton, Quentin Tarantino, and many more (titles cannot be listed publicly due to copyright constraints).

*Faculty and staff can show content in a secured classroom setting to registered students only
*Admission cannot be charged for movie showings
*Content is intended for specific course support only and cannot be advertised for public showings by movie title
