September 11, 2001: The Day That Changed the World (Poster Exhibit from the 9/11 Memorial & Museum)

September 1, 2021

Campbell Library, 2nd floor throughout September

In commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, Campbell Library is displaying the reflective poster exhibit “September 11, 2001: The Day That Changed the World.” Created by the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, the exhibit examines the history of 9/11 and its ongoing implications. It moreover explores the consequences of terrorism on individual lives and communities at the local, national, and international level, and encourages critical thinking about the legacy of 9/11. In addition, materials about 9/11 from Campbell Library’s collections are on display (Campbell Library, 1st floor, across from the Information Desk.)

The 9/11 Memorial & Museum has also made available an educational primer for students, educators, and community members interested in learning more about 9/11 and its impact over time.

Campbell Library invites our community to explore and reflect on 9/11 through the exhibit and its online materials throughout the month of September.
